The 2002 OVA "Combat Fairy Yukikaze" is a fully animated version of a masterpiece of Japanese hard science fiction that continues to enjoy enduring popularity. Platz now releases a special edition of their 1/144-scale Yukikaze that's been well received for its form and precision in spite of its small scale; this version comes with a mini magnetic sheet featuring the OVA's logo and unit mark! One Fairy Air Force emblem is included on the magnetic sheet. The Super Sylph Yukikaze's landing gear can be assembled in either parked or flight mode; the sensor blade is movable and can be adjusted in position even after assembly. It can be equipped with various missiles on the fuselage ebgine pods, sides and hard points under the main wings, and comes with a base inspired by the Boomerang Squadron so it can be displayed in flight; two pilot figures are also included, as are decals by Cartograf.
