This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
The SSN-637 Sturgeon is the first U.S. Navy attack-type nuclear submarine of the Sturgeon class, and has been the second U.S. warship of that name since the second E-class submarine (SS-25). She was built by the Electric Boat Company in Groton, Connecticut, laid down in 1963, launched by Mrs. Everett Darksen in 1966, and served under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Curtis B. Shelman Jr. in 1967. After she retired in 1944, Sturgeon's hull was dismantled in 1995 in Bremerton, Washington, according to the Ship-Submarine Recycling Plan.
This kit includes an injection plastic bridge, rudder, screws etc. on the FRP hull, as well as decals and a transparent display stand. Order yours today!
