Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

The Avro Vulcan was a strategic bomber developed in accordance with the B.35/46 procurement specification issued by the Ministry of Munitions in 1947, with the prototype making its first flight in 1952. In order to achieve a long range and high altitude performance, the aircraft was the first British commercial aircraft to adopt a delta wing with a low wing loading. As a side effect, the aircraft had excellent nimbleness at low altitude and, to a limited extent, stealth. Includes decals for two aircraft participating in Operation Black Buck during the 1982 Falklands War. Display stand included.
