Description
This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Platz brings us two pieces of their F6F-3 Hellcat VF-27, USS Princeton kit! The F6F Hellcat was the U.S. Navy's fighter on board aircraft carriers during World War II. It featured excellent mobility and survivability due to a combination of a 200hp-class engine and a sturdy airframe. It appeared on the front line of the Pacific War starting in 1943, and fought fiercely with Japanese aircraft, including the Zero, until the end of the war.
This kit includes parts to build two aircraft; each will be approximately 7.1cm long when completed. Each is precisely molded with delicate panel lines, and decals by Cartograf are included for three versions: VF-27 squadron on board USS Princeton, VF-9 squadron on board USS Essex, and VF-4 squadron.
