Description
This is a resin-cast aircraft kit.
This 3D printed model reproduces the X-36 unmanned research aircraft developed by NASA in 1997.
This remotely piloted, unmanned research aircraft was used to study both stealth and high maneuverability for the Joint Strike Fighter program, which produced the F-35 Lightning II fighter.
The model accurately reproduces the sci-fi form of the aircraft, which is tailless and has canards and cranked-arrow wings.
The cockpit, which was a dummy in the original model, is provided with a seat and pilot figure, and the canopy is also made of clear parts.
Weapons can also be mounted in the armament bay inside the fuselage and on the pylons on the underside of the main wings.
The landing gear can be selected between flight and landing modes, and the armament bay can be opened or closed.
In addition to the NASA markings of the actual aircraft, three types of decals are provided: the Air Self-Defense Force's marine camouflage and the U.S. Air Force's stealth camouflage for practical deployment, as well as pre-cut masking sheets for painting the canopy and other parts. Also included is a pre-cut masking sheet for painting the canopy and other parts.
