This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
Here's a big blast from the past! Yes, it's a new release of Airfix's veteran BHC SRN4 "Hoverlloyd Swift" hovercraft kit, originally released in 1969. As Airfix says, "The SRN4 was a fast passenger & car ferry, designed for operations on 'open sea' ferry routes." The kit actually includes markings to make either the Hoverlloyd Swift or British Rail Seaspeed versions. Includes four cars and clear parts for the roof if you want to show off the nice interior detail (the cars are molded in clear plastic, too). Will measure 27.2cm (10.7 inches) long when completed. Apparently the original issues of this kit can fetch quite a price on the Internet auction sites, so now's your chance to grab an inexpensive copy!
