With movable wheels and excellent paint detail, this bike looks excellent on display, either on its own or as part of a larger model bike collection. The tank and frame are made of die-cast metal, giving the model a high level of both weight and quality.

The RZ250, released in 1980, was developed as the culmination of Yamaha's 2-stroke technology in the face of stricter environmental regulations, and became a huge hit, changing the market trend toward 4-strokes and leading to the racer replica boom that followed.
