Description
This is an injection-plastic motorcycle kit.
Suzuki's 500cc racer, the RGV-500 (XR79), was ridden by Kevin Schwantz, who won the world championship in 1993 at the Road Race World Championship, the pinnacle of motorcycle road racing. The engine is a two-stroke V-4 cylinder with a displacement of 499.5cc. It has an aluminum twin spar frame, and was equipped with 16.5-inch wheels front and rear. It was entrusted to Kevin Schwantz and Alex Barros for the season. Schwantz won the season-opening Australian Grand Prix; after that, he continued to drive consistently, winning the Grand Prix in Spain, Austria, and the Netherlands, finishing second in Japan, Germany, and San Marino. Amazingly, he won the Riders Champion for the 1993 season.
This 1/12-scale plastic model kit from Beemax features the racing bike's mechanism reproduced in detail, including the twin spar frame, front and rear suspension, and V-type four-cylinder engine. The unique shape of the exhaust pipe and chamber unique to a two-stroke engine are also accurately modeled. The frame firmly reproduces the twin spar-type design. The chain is made of two parts that are glued together, and the gap between the chains is also expressed; together with the accurately modeled swing arm, it enhances the sense of reality of the finished model. Small metal screws are used to attach the engine and cowl, making for reliable assembly; a small screwdriver is included.. The piping and wiring such as the brakes, accelerators, and ignition cords are also reproduced. Order yours today!
