This is a racing car model kit assembled from parts made of resin, white metal, photo-etched metal and possibly other materials.

The first 1/12 scale Prototype Racing Car kit from MFH debuts!!
The 917, from the famous racing team has debuted in 1969. The development was done in just 10 months, and in order to get the homologation from FIA to race in Group 4, 25 closed body cars was manufactured and sold. In the 1969 24-hour endurance race held in Circuit de la Sarthe, the 917 had been modified to fit the long and straight circuit, the rear overhang was extended by 490mm, and the car was named 917LH. In next year (1970) race, the car was even more powerful with the 4,907cd engine and a rear wing was installed.
The 1/12 scale full detail kit is based on the ’70 24-hour endurance race model, from the Martini Racing team with chassis number”917-043″ and car number 3, and the chassis number “917-042″ with the car number 25 from Works.
The designs and details which are different from formula machine all the best and most advanced technology in the ’70, including the 4.9-litre engine, the cockpit and suspensions, etc. will be made of white metal, polyurethane, metal alloy, photo etch, plastic cords to form this multi-meterial kit.
