It is known for its high reliability and robust design, and has a variety of operational forms, including airborne/vehicle mounted, tripod mounted, and portable. It is a masterpiece machine gun that almost always appears in works and documentaries featuring the U.S. military.

Based on research at the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Weapons School, the A4 ground combat tripod-mounted version of the M1919 machine gun is precisely reproduced in 1/12-scale in this new "Little Armory" item from Tomytec! The set also includes an ammunition box, soft resin ammunition belt, and an M2 tripod, creating a light yet heavy machine gun-like presence and realism. The M2 tripod can also be used with other Little Armory machine guns.

• The model is divided and designed with realism in mind, allowing you to enjoy the process of assembling a real gun while assembling the model.
