Tomytec adds the M1918, commonly known as BAR, from the TV anime "501st Joint Fighter Wing Strike Witches ROAD to BERLIN" to their "Little Armory" 1/12-scale weapon model kit lineup! The M1918BAR is a firearm that doubles as an automatic rifle and a light machine gun, used by Charlotte E. Yeager of the United States of Rebellion. Tomytec conducted interviews with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Weapons School for the model's design. In addition to ensuring its modeling was accurate, they also wanted to recreate the weapon's specifications from the anime, such as the bipod (which was eliminated). The package and illustration card feature original illustrations by Michio Sato! A newly written commentary on firearms written by Takaaki Suzuki, responsible for the worldview and military history in the show, is included on the back of the illustration card. The illustration card can also be used as a display background by combining it with the included clear card with a magic square on it!

This kit reproduces the unique shape of the Witch model without the bipod; the wooden stock used in the anime is reproduced with brown molding. The magazine can be attached and detached, and like an open-bolt BAR, you can choose whether the bolt is open or closed. The rear sight can be raised or lowered depending on the firing range.
