The PTRS1941 is a semi-automatic anti-tank rifle designed by the engineer Simonov under the order of the Soviet military's upper echelons, who recognized the importance of anti-tank rifles. With a total length of over 2 meters and a weight of over 20 kilograms, it was a rifle in a class of its own, capable of firing five consecutive 14.5mm large-caliber bullets. This bullet had the ability to penetrate German tanks in early battles. Although it soon lost its ability to take down tanks due to the evolution of tank armor, it remained a high-powered long-range gun which lead to the genealogy of anti-material rifles in later years. In addition, the SKS carbine, which was a smaller redesign of the PTRS1941, was highly evaluated and became a major influence on Soviet automatic weapon design after the war.

This is the third in the "Study 1942" series, reproducing various firearms that were developed before World War II and became the foundation of modern firearms. This kit is molded in brown and black plastic, and since the real gun is the longest anti-tank rifle with a length of more than 2 meters, this version will be about 18cm long when completed! The Simonov is a gun that uses a simple fixed magazine instead of a detachable box-type magazine; you can select the characteristic appearance at the time of bullet feeding.
