The Tokarev and Makarov are two types of military automatic pistols developed in the former Soviet era. The Tokarev pistol (also known as the T-33) is based on the U.S. M1911, but features a simple design that omits safety devices. It consists of the smallest number of parts among military automatic pistols of the same time period. The 7.62x25mm Tokarev bullet used by this gun is also famous for its extremely high penetrative power. The Makarov, also known as the PM, is a medium-sized pistol developed after the war. Based on the idea that handguns on the battlefield are auxiliary firearms, it was designed with an emphasis on carrying performance, such as reducing size and weight and improving safety. Even now, its use is widespread mainly in the east.
This "Little Armory" model kit includes parts to build a total of six handguns -- three each of the Tokarev and Makarov. The grip and leather holsters are molded in brown; a rubber band that can be used as a holster belt is also included. (Please be aware that the holster is not designed to hold the actual guns.) Three types of grips for the Makarov are included too. Order yours today!
