Witches were said to be servants of the devil in Western society during the Middle Ages, when Christianity spread. They appear in many Western stories, and are often seen preparing secret potions in large pots and cauldrons. Many of the women who were considered witches were traditional magic practitioners in rural areas who could be consulted for various problems, and who possessed traditional medical knowledge to cure illnesses. In addition to folklore about witches being passed down in many cultures, they also appear in various fairy tales.

Doll & Hobby re-releases the classic model kit originally released in 1965 by Aurora! In addition to the figure of the witch, there's also a display base with the large cauldron and part of the wall made of stacked stones. With her long hair and large nose, this witch matches the description seen in many fairy tales; she holds a large spoon in her right hand, and a bat in her left hand. A backboard that's printed on both sides is also included to display behind the completed model.
