Description

This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.

Recognizing the importance of infantry, Maximilian I, the German king of the Holy Roman Empire, organized a mercenary army of mainly Germans in 1486.
This was the Landsknecht.
It is said that Landsknecht changed the battle from being fought mainly by knights to being fought mainly by infantrymen, following the model of Swiss mercenaries.
The Swiss mercenaries were also business rivals, and it is said that the battlefields where the two sides fought against each other were filled with terrible battles.
The bust of Landsknecht in the last period of his life, when he was fully equipped in the 16th century, has been reproduced.
It can be said that this is a wonderful bust made based on thorough historical research as a historical figure.

Material: resin
