This plastic model assembly kit reproduces the PM127YK turret-mounted version of the Sisu xa-180, an armored vehicle operated by the Finnish Defense Forces in 1/72 scale.

About the real vehicle:.

The xa-180 is an armored vehicle developed by Sisu in Finland.

The prototype of this 6-wheel drive armored personnel carrier was completed in 1982, and it has been in operation since 1983 in Finland and the army.

The overall length of the vehicle is 7.35 m. It can accommodate two passengers and 10 soldiers in the fighting compartment.

The engine is a Valmet 611 inline 6-cylinder liquid-cooled turbocharged diesel.

It delivers 236 hp and a maximum speed of 95 km/h.

It also has the ability to navigate on water, and equipped with two screws, it can travel at about 10 km/h on the water.

In addition to the basic type, variation types are also available in the lineup, such as the Patria's PM127YK turret-mounted type, which has increased firepower.

Some of the vehicles were also deployed by the Finnish UN Battalion, participating in UN peacekeeping operations.
