Nishitetsu & Kyushu Sanko "Hinokuni-go" 60th Anniversary Commemorative Set in production!

The "Hinokuni" inter-city express bus, jointly operated by Nishi-Nippon Railroad and Kyushu Sanko Bus, will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2022.

The Hinokuni bus started operation in 1962 as an express bus via National Route 3 as a route between Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture and Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture.

It is the express bus with the longest history in Kyushu, and as of 2022, the three routes together have a total of 162 runs on weekdays and 170 runs on weekends and holidays, making it a high frequency express bus route.

As of 2022, the 60th anniversary of the buses, the newest model (MS06) of both Mitsubishi Fuso Aeroace buses will be released.
