A Takara Tomy/Tamiya tie-up! This little Q-Steer racer is a model of...a model! Yes, it's a perfect little replica of Tamiya's "Avante" radio-controlled race buggy (whose motto is "Being Nuts is Neat!"), now offered by Takara Tomy as a wee infra-red controlled racer. The Avante moves forward, backward, and can turn left or right, at two different speeds. The controller also acts as a battery charger, charging up the Avante in 50 seconds (no indication is given anywhere as to how long it will run on a single charge, however). Requires three AAA batteries, not included. Infra-red controller works to a range of about 1.5 meters.
