This item is a racing car model kit assembled from parts made of resin, white metal, photo-etched metal and possibly other materials. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.
For advanced car modelers, it doesn't get any better than Model Factory Hiro's kits, and this new Ferrari F2004 doesn't disappoint! The main body is a combination of metal innards and a resin cover, which is delicately formed to accurately reproduce the complex curves of the modern F1 car's cowling. The engine and suspension detail is white metal. Wings and detailed body aero work are photo-etched sheets of thin metal. Machined metal brake assemblies, pre-formed metal wheels, pre-printed rubber tires and other detail parts round out a set that even comes with red cloth to cut for the seat belts (belt logos are provided, too, and of course there are photo-etched buckles). No engine detail, though. Comes with decals for both the #1 Schumacher and #2 Barrichello cars for the 2005 Australian and Malaysian GPs (certain sponsorship decals are not included, however). Truly a drool-inducing kit for advanced modelers! Instructions in English are provided.
