The German Sd.Kfz. 139 Marder III was one incarnation of the Marder tank destroyer, this version being built on the Czechoslovakian-designed Panzer 38(t) chassis with a 75mm Pak 40 gun mounted mid-chassis. Marders were produced from 1942 and served on all fronts during WWII.
