This is a set of two fully-finished models of the super-stylish Douglas X-3 Stiletto, a plane that looked much faster than it actually was! Due to a lack of proper engines, the X-3 never lived up to its speedy looks, but did pioneer other technologies, such as the small wings that were later used in the F-104 Starfighter's design.
The set includes one fully painted X-3 and one with clear fuselage parts to show the inner detail. Includes a stand to display both models together.
Please note a prototype is shown; the production version may vary.
