After years of impatient waiting, modelers everywhere rejoiced when Trumpeter announced their new 1/72 BAC Lightning. And now here it is! Parts are included for both the F.2A and F.6A variants. The level of detail is quite high, with impressive cockpit and landing gear areas. Overwing fuel tanks, Red Top and Firestreak missiles are included, with the Firestreaks molded in clear. Decals are given for Lightning F.6 XR753 and Lightning F.2A XN781, as well as a JASDF "What If" scheme.
