1/35 German s.F.H 18 15cm Howitzer

Directly descended from the s.F.H 13 of WWI, s.F.H 18 was a 150mm field Howitzer that was one of the primary medium artillery pieces used by the Germans in WWII. The s.F.H 18 had a muzzle velocity of 520 meters per second and a range of 13,370 meters.

Trumpeter's kit of the s.F.H 18 is sharply molded in gray styrene, and includes a choice of a metal or plastic gun barrel (the metal barrel features rifling), metal parts for the elevation hardware, metal chains, and black rubber tires. The instructions only show how to build the gun in its transport configuration, all folded up with all four wheels mounted, but it certainly seems possible to build it in the firing configuration as well...check your references! The wheels are to be glued on and do not roll after assembly. No figures or Sd.Kfz.7s are included...just the big gun and its carriage!
