A new-tool 1/32 P-51D from Trumpeter, with some interesting features. Includes a full engine assembly, detailed cockpit, radiator/oil cooler assembly, detailed gun bays, separate control surfaces, detailed landing gear, and a wealth of underwing stores including two styles of drop tanks, HVARs, and bombs. Plus, the fuselage is provided in both gray and clear plastic, for those who want to build a "visible Mustang." Photo-etched parts are included as well as rubber tires, and decals are given for John Voll's "American Beauty/Lovely Lila" of the 308th FS and Wallace Hopkins' "Ferocious Frankie" of the 374th FS.
