Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 428 parts. 34.4cm long when completed.

After decades of only one 1/32 Jug kit, this year two companies bring us new ones! So how does Trumpeter's big Thunderbolt look? Well, the parts count is much, much higher than Hasegawa's, with a lot more detail available. We are given a super-detailed engine, engine accessory compartment, complete turbocharger, intercooler and all associated ducting (most of which will never be seen), four styles of propeller (Hamilton Standard, "toothpick" Curtis, symmetrical paddle-blade Curtis, and assymmetrical paddle-blade Curtis), open gun bays, optional open or closed cowl flaps, optional RDF antenna, optional rear-view mirrors, and stores including a flat-style belly tank, 150-gallon Lockheed tanks, 75-gallon metal tanks, 108-gallon paper tanks, 250-lb. bombs, 500-lb. bombs, and bazooka tubes. Markings are for two aircraft: "Bonnie," as flown by Maj. Bill Dunham in the SW Pacific, and "LM K," as flown by Capt. Michael Quirk of the 62nd FS--with an embarrassed Donald Duck on the nose!
