1/32 F6F-5 Hellcat

Trumpeter continues their 1/32 Hellcat line with this impressive F6F-5. Includes centerline tank, bombs and racks and HVAR rockets. Typically for Trumpeter we are given a whole lot of detail that will never be seen unless surgery is performed to open access panels, such as the engine accessory compartment and avionics in the aft fuselage. The cockpit, engine, and gun bays will be visible, though, so detail is welcome here. Rubber tires are provided, with two styles of tailwheel tire. The wings can be assembled folded or extended, and the control surfaces look to be able to be posed if so desired. Finally, Trumpeter has also given us a tow tractor and bar, but no driver or other crew figures. Decals are for Lt. Carl Brown's cat-mouthed "Paper Doll" off the Princeton and "33" of VF-29 off the Marcu.
