Trumpeter's second BIG Corsair release is a -4, which saw service in the closing days of WWII and extensive use in Korea. This kit comes with all the features you'd expect in this scale: a superdetailed engine, landing gear and gun bays. To show off the very impressively detailed engine, the cowling is supplied as a clear part! The cockpit is detailed and has been completely redone to correctly represent the -4, and full ordnance is included: drop tanks, bombs and 5" rockets. Markings are done by Aeromaster and are included for two aircraft: a colorful rattlesnake-marked aircraft of VMF-323 in Korea, and Captain Ken Walsh's aircraft on Okinawa in 1945. However, Captain Walsh's aircraft would have been a very early -4, with the same round windscreen as a -1A or -1D, and the kit only includes the later flat windscreen. Some color callouts in the instructions are questionable, so you should check your references!
