1/35 LAV-M (Motor Carrier Vehicle)

The LAV-M (Light Armored Vehicle-Mortar) is an all-terrain, all-weather vehicle with night capabilities, providing indirect fire support to light infantry and reconnaissance forces, as well as providing high explosive area fire plus smoke coverage and illumination for first-line units. It is air transportable via C-130, C-141, C-5, and CH-53 E. The vehicle can be made fully amphibious in three minutes.

Trumpeter's kit of the LAV-M is sharply molded in light gray styrene with black vinyl tires. Includes a fret of photo-etched metal detail parts. Fantastic detail throughout, with particularly spectacular chassis detail. Markings are provided for two vehicles.
