Assembly Guide:Skill LevelCement (Y/N)Paint (Y/N)
Product Overview:This item is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 176 parts. 21.5cm long when completed.

The PT-76 is a lightly armored but fully amphibious fighting vehicle. Manned by a crew of three and armed with a 76mm main gun, the PT-76 is often used to transport troops. It has seen service with the Warsaw Pact countries and elsewhere throughout the world. This kit builds into a PT-76 model 1951.

Trumpeter's PT-76 kit is sharply molded in gray styrene, and includes a bit of twine for the tow cables and some brass wire the modeler must bend into shape to create the handrail around the turret. The tracks are flexible belts. Photo-etched metal detail parts are included. An interesting feature is the inclusion of the two water jet ducts leading from the intakes on the bottom of the hull to the nozzles on the rear of the hull. Markings are provided for one vehicle. The white stripes as shown in the box art are not included as decals, and must be painted on. The crew and angry crowd figures in the box art are not included! A nice kit of an interesting vehicle. Can I still hope for an Obiekt 279 in 1/35?
