The LAV-C2 (Light Armored Vehicle-Command and Control) is an all-terrain, all-weather vehicle with night operation capabilities. It features a raised roof to house communications equipment, giving commanders a mobile armored base from which to direct operations in the field. It is air-transportable via C-130, C-141, C-5 and CH-53 E, and can be made fully amphibious in three minutes.
Trumpeter's kit of the LAV-C2 is sharply molded in light gray styrene, with black vinyl tires. Includes new hull parts for the command version and a fret of photo-etched metal detail parts. Fantastic detail throughout, with particularly spectacular chassis detail. Figures are not included.
