To protect its trains from attack, the Germans created "armored trains," incorporating parts from its battle tanks onto flatbed railway chassis. The German Panzerjagerwagen was one such car, fitted with an armored pillbox-style body with a Panzer IV turret with 75mm cannon mounted.
Trumpeter's Panzerjagerwagen is sharply molded in light gray plastic, with all necessary parts for the wagon itself and a stretch of railway to display it on. Also included are two frets of photo-etched metal detail parts and decals for one version.
