1/35 KV-IE Heavy Tank

Russian tried to strengthen their KV-1 1941 model with the appilique (meaning of Ehktranami in Russia) armour plates bolted onto the turret and hull. This one is often reffered as KV-1E in the west. Trumpeter also give the new extra armor parts sprue to the original kit. Of course the road wheeles with the small lightning holes often found on this tank is added, too. Trumpeter seems to be succeeded to reproduce the robust image of this russian heavy tank. Tracks are of the partially linked injection plastic one. The upper run has the natural sag.between suppor rollers, sprocket and idler. The rubber belt type tracks a re also included for ease of building. No figure is included.
