C-16 Dinobot

Dinobot started out as a Predacon in the "Beast Wars" series but later joined the Maximals to uphold his code of honor. Capable of switching between his Velociraptor and robot modes, this transformable action figure of Dinobot features chrome parts for his melee weapon which can also be used as a projectile missile, plus the insignia on his Velociraptor's head can be switched to either the Maximals or Predacons to change his allegiance. His tail/right arm can open to launch a projectile.

Initially released in the U.S. in Hasbro's "Transformers: Universe" toy line, Dinobot and other Transformers in this "Henkei! Henkei! Transformers" line are redecorated by Takara Tomy for the Japanese market with a different color scheme for a more accurate resemblance to their counterparts in the "Transformers" animated shows. Each toy in this series also features chrome-plated parts and comes in Japanese packaging.
