The right-hand 'bot to Galvatron, ever-loyal Decepticon Cyclonus was introduced in the 1986 "Transformers: The Movie" animated film. Capable of switching between his Cybertronian jet and robot modes, this transformable action figure of Cyclonus features chrome wings, plus a clear part at the back of his head to allow light to shine through and light up his eyes! Cyclonus is accompanied with Targetmaster Nightstick that can switch between its rifle and robot modes, and also features chrome legs and barrel.

Initially released in the U.S. in Hasbro's "Transformers: Universe" toy line, Cyclonus and other Transformers in this "Henkei! Henkei! Transformers" line are redecorated by Takara Tomy for the Japanese market with a different color scheme for a more accurate resemblance to their counterparts in the "Transformers" animated shows. Each toy in this series also features chrome-plated parts and comes in Japanese packaging.
