This is a completed action toy designed for collectors.

In the original "Transformers" animated show, Hound is an Earth-loving Autobot scout who is also an expert in projecting realistic holograms. Capable of switching between his off-road car and robot modes, this transformable action figure of Hound features a chrome front bumper, plus a clear part at the back of his head to allow light to shine through and light up his eyes! Hound is accompanied with Cassettron Jaguar (a.k.a. Ravage outside of Japan) that can switch between its cassette and robotic jaguar modes.

Initially released in the U.S. in Hasbro's "Transformers: Classics" toy line, Hound and other Transformers in this "Henkei! Henkei! Transformers" line are redecorated by Takara Tomy for the Japanese market with a different color scheme for a more accurate resemblance to their counterparts in the "Transformers" animated shows. Each toy in this series also features chrome-plated parts and comes in Japanese packaging.
