Hot Rodimus (a.k.a. Hot Rod/Rodimus outside Japan) is another great addition to Takara Tomy's "Henkei! Henkei! Transformers" lineup! Capable of transforming between his red sports car mode and robot mode, this action figure of the youthful Autobot is packed with features: chrome parts for his rear wing, spring-loaded gun, laser chainsaw, and a clear part at the back of his head to allow light to shine through and light up his eyes!

Initially released in the U.S. in Hasbro's "Transformers Classics" toy line, Hot Rodimus and other Transformers in this new "Henkei! Henkei! Transformers" lineup are redecorated by Takara Tomy for the Japanese market with a different color scheme to more accurately resemble their counterparts in the original "Transformers" animated show. Each figure in this series also features chrome-plated parts and comes in Japanese packaging.
