1/24 Mercedes-Benz AMG 500SL 6.0-4V

Supertuned by AMG, the Mecedes-Benz AMG 500SL 6.0-4V featured a 6.0 liter 381-horsepower engine, AMG wheels, and all the AMG suspension tuning needed to keep all that power glued to the pavement. Tamiya's kit of the 500SL features complete engine detail, a removable hardtop with movable roll bar, very nice chrome-plated wheels (you'll need to paint the centers the color of your choice), and fat rubber tires. All wheels roll, front wheels are steerable (not by the steering wheel, though). Decals provided for dash gauges and license plates. Aside from the chrome and clear parts, the kit is molded in a very dark gray metallic plastic.
