When I look at these great old Tamiya F1 classics, I cannot help but wish that they'd get back into releasing awesome kits like this one. This limited reissue of the MP4/6 -- the 1991 machine in which Senna won his third and last world championship, and McLaren the constructors' -- is a stunning piece of work. It features a working suspension and steering mechanism; turning the model's steering wheel actually moves the front wheels. Metal suspension arm parts make it all durable, too. The body can be removed after completion to show off the fully-detailed V12 Honda powerplant. Includes markings for both Senna and Berger.
