The German version of the Italian armored car. First conceived by Fiat-Ansaldo in the late 1930s, the AB43 featured sturdy riveted construction and four-wheel-drive with dual steering controls. Its 85hp engine enabled speeds of up to 76kph. The fully rotating turret was armed with a 20mm cannon. The AB43 continued serving with the Italian police into the postwar period.
This kit is Tamiya's release of Italeri's Autoblinda AB41 kit, with the addition of two Tamiya figures. Crisply molded in tan styrene with realistic rubber-like tires. Markings included for four vehicles.
