Tamiya's latest 1/48 release is a multi-version Wurger with everything you need to build an A-8 or A-8/r2. This kit features:
A choice of 5 markings: A-8r2 "Black 8" of 11/IV/JG3, A-8r2 "Red 1" of 5/II/JG300, A-8r2 "Double Chevron" of IV/JG3, A-8r2 "Red 8" of 5/II/JG300 and A-8 "Red 19" of 5/II/JG300.
Parts for both metal and wood propellers.
New clear plastic parts for the extra bullet-proof glass found on the A-8/r2 canopy.
Heavy-duty easy-to-use stickers that when applied will convincingly represent the extra armor plating outside the cockpit.
Wing and nose gun parts are separate to allow either the A-8 or A-8/r2 versions to be built.
Early- and late-style outboard wing 20mm cover panels in addition to the 30mm covers of the A-8/r2.
