The Ausf. N was a version of the venerable Panzer III equipped with a short-barreled 7.5cm KwK 37 L/24 main gun for use against fortifications.
Tamiya's kit of the Panzer III Ausf. N features an aluminum main gun barrel with rifling (plastic barrel also included), and photo-etched metal parts for the engine deck screens and other details, plus plastic parts to replicate the characteristic smoke dischargers often seen on the turret sides of the Ausf. N. Tracks are nicely detailed flexible one-piece vinyl belts. Includes two commander figure variations and decals for four vehicles, including vehicles from the Russian Front and Northern African Front.
