This kit is one of Tamiya's refinements of the "old numbers", with additional parts. The original German Sd.Kfz.223 armored radio recon car kit was released in 1975. The basic nature of the kit is very fine, as these kits were produced during the golden age of their Military Miniature Series -- which established the well-known and hard-earned reputation of the "Tamiya Standard". Tamiya has added a pair of photo-etched stainless mesh and its frame for the small turret top this time. A nice companion to German tank dioramas, of all fronts.
