This T-55A kit broke tank kit sales records here at HLJ even before it was released! This proves just how badly military modelers around the world have been waiting for a good kit of this cold war (and Middle East) fixture. And Tamiya hasn't disappointed!

The careful research and superb tooling that we've come to expect from the industry leader is all on display here. The subtle surface texturing of the cast turret is especially good, and will look amazing after some dry brush work! The little bits have also gotten a lot of attention; wait until you see the parts for the turret-mounted MG! Belt-type single-piece tracks. Comes with nylon string for the towing cable. "Poly-cap" grommets for smooth turning of principle wheels. Can be built as any one of five variants of the tank, including Czech and Polish-built types. Highly recommended!
