1/35 German Leopard 2 A5

Tamiya's Leopard 2 proves they haven't lost their touch when it comes to tanks, despite an over two-year gap since their last all-new tank kit (the Cromwell). When describing Tamiya kits, I hate to keep using the adjective "crisp" but its perfect in describing what you see in the box. Texturing is perfect, too. The non-skid surfaces on the hull's upper side are really non-skid! And wait until you see the radiator covers! I didn't think you could form styrene this thin! What you would normally expect to see photo-etched parts for has been done in plastic. You even get soft plastic mesh to make the turret basket, and numerous clear plastic parts for the view ports, periscope, etc. Rubber-type belt tracks move after assembly. Without question, the perfect Leopard.
