This item is an injection-plastic passenger car kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 12.9cm long when completed.
Tamiya's older Austin Mini Cooper with new tooling for the 1275S - considered to be the "ultimate" Mini Cooper. Featuring a 1275cc engine and great nimbleness, it won the 1964, 1965 and 1967 Monte Carlo Rally.
This kit of the Mimi Cooper is a real gem with full engine, suspension and interior detail. It is obvious that the engineers at Tamiya have a soft-spot for this car by the amount of detail the invested in such a small frame. About the only thing needed is opening doors and those can be done with a bit of work as the interior panels are molded separately.
Body and chassis molded in white. Details molded in black. Chrome grill and trim parts. Wheels turn but do not steer after completion. More information on TAMIYA Website.
