This item is an injection-plastic racing car model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use. 18.3cm long when completed.
Just when you though the Hasegawa and Fujimi versions of the same car were enough, Tamiya decides to get into the game as well with their new model of the machine that propelled Tommi Makinen to victory in the 1998 World Rally Championships. Only visible portions of engine and exhaust/suspension are recreated (hood doesn't open). But the interior detail is excellent (carbon fiber decals included; seat belts recreated as decals only). Of course, there are rubber tires on wheels that turn and steer after assembly. Mesh for the front grille intakes, too. An excellent value at this price!
