1/35 Elefant The 653rd Heavy Tank Destroyer Battalion

Tamiya has been marketing its own excellent kits as superbly finished models for some time now, but what we have here is a kit manufactured by one of Tamiya's closest rivals, Dragon Models, masterfully assembled, painted, marked, and weathered by the master craftsmen (and women!) at Tamiya. This collaboration has resulted in a magnificent finished 1/35 model of the German WWII Elefant tank destroyer, mounting the potent 88mm gun in a fixed superstructure. This Elefant is finished in the markings of a vehicle that served with the 653rd Heavy Tank Destroyer Battalion in 1944, and features a brilliantly applied two-tone camouflage scheme. Mounted on a black plastic base, and ready to display.
