The Gorilla debuted in 1978 and was in production until 1992. This economical load carrier was virtually unchanged for its entire production life. In 1999 3500 more "Special Edition" Gorillas were produced with just about every metal piece chrome plated.
Tamiya's kit captures every detail of this unusual little bike. Just about every piece in the box is plated in some Finnish. The frame is molded in black. Hollow rubber tires and "working" suspension finish the kit. Fork works. Optional parts to make the 1998 model or the limited edition in 1999.
