This item is an injection-plastic racing car model kit. It requires both cement and painting to complete or use.
What was literally, at one point, the most sought-after Japanese hobby item on the planet (I've heard reports of this kit trading between collectors for more than $500 U.S.) has finally come back down to earth. Tamiya's immortal kit of Senna's MP 4/6, the machine that McLaren used to dominate F1 in 1991, has finally been reissued.
Hundreds of crisp injection plastic pieces form the engine and body core which are then detailed by metal suspension parts, springs, wires, working metal hinges, rubber tires and more. Even fabric is provided for the seatbelts. Masking templates are included to ease body painting as well. Virtually every part of the actual car is duplicated here -- even the steering mechanism works (i.e. turning the steering wheel turns the front wheels). Get this limited-release classic while it lasts!
