The BT-13 Laserwave is a car-to-robot Transformer in the tradition of previous releases from the last two decades, but to differentiate it from other Transformers toys, (1) it's a very realistic rendering of an actual car (the Mazda RX-8 "Mazda Speed"), and (2) when it's a car, it has none of the toy-like qualities of previous offerings, instead being a gorgeous display model with complete engine and cockpit detail!
